Family preservation services are short-term, family-focused services designed to assist families in crisis by improving parenting and family functioning while keeping children safe.

Family Preservation Services

I worked with school age children in a summer program. These were students who were from underserved populations so the goal was to help continue their learning over the summer so that their caregivers could still work. I created games and activities to do with the children and had developmental conversations with them.
