Mechanical Engineering Co-op
Department: HVAC Department
My experience
Overview
Mostly did Revit/AutoCAD drawings and markups, Helped Professional Engineers as needed, Visited worksites to inspect HVAC systems
Not the most thrilling work, having to pay for parking wasn't great. Learning Revit was exciting but got kinda boring after a few weeks. Great starter co-op to get work experience, learn professional skills, and have a talking point for job interviews, but probably not for me for full-time. Great office culture and nice people to work with; half day Fridays, earning PTO and overtime were great perks.
Would recommend it to people who...
Interested in MEP System Design, Interested in HVAC, Likes a desk job with computer drafting
