My experience
Overview
I built a tool in VBA that took in data from massive text files and put it into an Excel file for users to edit, and then put it back in the text file after. I also spent a lot of time find the cardinal direction of a lot of railroads.
The company was going through a transition at the time so they didn’t really have much for me to do. I spent the first 2 weeks just reading a book about how trains and railroads work. I did get to travel a bit to Huntsville, AL and Chattanooga, TN. I also felt like I was the youngest person there by far so I probably wouldn’t work there again. It was good experience though!
