My experience

Overview

Responsible for numerous IT controls. Conducted thorough assessments of each control. Compiled and annotated testing documentation (majority time spent here). ||Worked at a single client throughout the 8 week long internship. ||Day involved various meetings gathering evidence for testing, and then writing up necessary details.

Be careful when companies market positions as ""consulting"" or ""advisory"".

Have a passion for GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and interested in audit with focus on IT systems rather than financials.
