Project Engineering Intern
Unstructured internship Jesup, Georgia Employed: Summer 2019
Format: In-person
Department: Project Engineering Department - Jesup Georgia
Department: Project Engineering Department - Jesup Georgia
My experience
Overview
Worked on improving the potable water system around the plant which included heading out to the plant and seeing the state that they are currently in, using AutoCAD to make and update the P&ID documentations, and making requests to the maintenance departments/outside contractors to make repairs/adjustments to the system.
Gave one large project that an intern and I focused on for the summer, but it was largely self-motivated of how much work we wanted to do.
Would recommend it to people who...
Like to be in a factory/manufacturing setting. Like to plan things out while being hands-on
Would NOT recommend it to people who...
Like to be in an urban area. Want to be indoors most of the time.
