My experience

Overview

I analyzed data from the production line to see how to optimize production and wrote safety procedures. I went into the office twice a week to attend meetings and look at the production floor to ensure diagrams matched with the real process.

The work is fulfilling because you learn a lot about what manufacturing is like. Even with COVID, you can meet a lot of people because all of the work is team based. Unless it is a small project, you will have to wait a bit for projects to move forward due to communication between different teams. Everyone there is willing to help though, which is great!
