Interview Rounds
Interview type
Interview questions
Behavioral was standard. Technical, they provided various pieces of information of a typical refinery unit and asked for how we would approach a variety of problems. The group interview day was six hours and involved a variety of team oriented tasks/puzzles as well as an engineering case and recommendation.
Advice on how to prepare
bp has more of a focus on competency than any of the other companies I’ve worked for. Stressing ways that you’ve taken on projects and how you’ve delivered exceptional results will go a long way at every stage of the interview.
