My experience

Overview

Worked on a routing project for supplying Boeing Apache helicopters. Work was repetitive as it was in the in-house manufacturing department. Work was limited to what was kitted and available, so some weeks were slow, some were busy.

Great place to work, but for additional context, my specific location was actually an engineering firm that got bought out by Mercury. So this could play into the management style and culture (which was great) at the location, can not speak for other Mercury Systems originating locations.

Pros

Structure was great and flexible. Management was top-notch, but given that I was an intern, I don't expect there to be much pressure on me. Great place to get experience, compensation was subpar. Started as a high-school intern at 13.xx, and got a dollar raise when entering college.

Cons

Work was monotonous
