My experience
Overview
I did a lot of welding projects. Frequently was tasked with jobs that they had put off until the last minute or until Friday afternoon and then had to be done immediately. Very little CAD work, a lot of handson. A lot of creating work instructions.
I hated it here and was constantly disrespected/ignored as a woman engineer. My supervisor frequently ignored my messages and never provided any direction.
Would recommend it to people who...
if you literally cannot find anything else and are good at writing resumes to overhype this
Would NOT recommend it to people who...
are women, wish to work reasonable hours, have any want of direction and/or respect
Impact of work
How much knowledge or experience was needed going in (pre-requisites)?
Time spent working
How did working remote affect your experience?
Was almost violently against being remote at all
