My experience

Overview

Digitized paper records of maintenance plans, captured an experts knowledge on one specific part of a machine, targeted and drove out a loss from a part causing unplanned stops

Have a sense of urgency… start your projects right out of the gate because 12 weeks is quick. You have 2 big presentations for leadership (midpoint and final). Work hard but know when to go home.

Pros

Work that you do actually matters to the organization and you will most likely see your work being used when you return, great camaraderie between interns and managers, good pay, good training, very structured (projects laid out for you at the beginning so you are never searching for work to do.

Cons

Long hours (6:30-4 M-R), High stress, very unpredictable work environment

Impact of work

Time spent working

Some about experience: Tell us about a time when work you did saved money or time for your employer? / What in your experience makes you a good leader?

Advice on how to prepare

Study for the test (first round) it’s hard and you can’t move on unless you pass. Look up P&Gs core values online and make sure to include them in your answers
