Intern
Department: Howard Hughes Houston
My experience
Overview
We were assigned a property as a team in Houston, and over 3 different rotations we were given the ins and out of how to sell the property. I can't remember everything, but we had 3 different presentations for each of the 3 rotations, each centered around a different subject, whether that be value add, or other aspects. It was a fun, competitive environment, and we were judged by actual professionals in the Real Estate space.
I overall loved Project Destined, and I feel it to be the best starter block for anyone interested in Real Estate, especially for black/brown students.
Pros
We were invited to the property, and Cedric Bobo is very passionate about learning everyone's name and getting them to the next level, whether that be in Real Estate or anything else business related.
Cons
Some teams didn't mesh well together.

Interview questions
When I interviewed, it was Winter 2021, so the program has undergone a lot of changes, but the lady was extremely nice. She asked me about myself and how interested I was in real estate.
Advice on how to prepare
My classmates need to apply, as there's a high percentage that one will be accepted.
