My experience

Overview

Completed presales work for land mobile radio systems for federal civilian clients and law enforcement agencies. Worked on actual projects and even completed all work for one client, so I was fully integrated with the team completing actual work, not just intern side tasks. Presales work included making Bills of Materials, writing proposals, and completing system design.

I'm personally not a fan of sales engineering, but it was a good experience and I worked with a lot of great people. I was sent on a 3 day trip to Chicago to see the corporate headquarters and plenty of time and a small budget was built in ro explore the city and do touristy stuff.
