Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
Financial Analyst Intern
Department: Financial Statistics and Structure Analysis
My experience
Overview
I reviewed financial reports and then called a CFO or CEO of the reporter to request revisions. Tracked information that was in the reports that the Fed needed.
The culture of the Federal Reserve is honestly amazing. The people I worked with were she extremely welcoming and accommodating. Directors would call each week to check in. Cool opportunities to talk to the President (once or twice) and Vice President (pretty often) of the Fed.
Would recommend it to people who...
Feel comfortable calling executives and are extremely detail-oriented.

Time spent working
How did working remote affect your experience?
They made it work pretty well, and sent me whatever supplies I needed. Remote training went smoothly too. I don't think they'll continue remote after COVID because a lot of their special intern events are only possible in person.

Advice on how to prepare
No technical questions. A lot of behavioral. Overall easygoing and chill.
