My experience

Overview

I interviewed patients and families with different cancer predispositions and designed a mobile app to help them manage a lot of aspects of their condition such as their screening scans, appointments, doctors, etc.

Would recommend it to people who...

If you like flexibility and are passionate about helping people using technology at our disposal this was a great experience, also the work has a real-life impact which you can see as you collaborate with clinicians and patients

Would NOT recommend it to people who...

The work is funded by a grant so there is not big money in it
