I edited and produced an educational video series for the department that I work in. I also worked with the Product Development Team and Marketing Analytics to create a dashboard data visualization of Asian Amarican consumers. I also helped edit a video series for an Employee Resource Group for Asian American employees/Cox consumers.

Not much besides not being in the office. The University Relations team does a great job in interacting and holding events for the cohort to bond and learn even virtually. They are due to be back in person in June.

First rotation, designed/built a UI template for new tools and applications using angular framework. Second rotation, built a web app for my team using the first semester UI and Ruby on Rails backend connected to MySQL database. 

Working remotely had little impact on my team, using microsoft teams keeping in touch was no trouble. I believe right now they plan on keeping at least some people remote through at least June 

First rotation - created a template for financial analysis to be used in the future by analysts for projects that require certain checkpoints and approvals for funding
Second rotation - created various business cases and value assessments for projects internal to the company to determine the financial impact of the launch

Almost better remote, easier to be apart of meetings and communicate with leadership

Investigated top queries on our website and developed content to provide better results for the most relevant queries. I also developed new internal communication tools within Microsoft Teams and reorganized our file sharing structure, among other things. 

Remote experience very positive, still got a lot of personal interactions and was able to build my network relatively well. They are not planning to continue to be remote. 

Completed a number of projects to support product strategy & development for Cox Communication's video product line

I spent a lot of time in a cubicle working on projects in Tableau and Excel. I would connect data from the company database to Tableau and work on visualizations, as well as complete ad hoc data analyzation requests in Excel and Tableau.

One project was a market research project. I took in a lot of data in Excel sheets from various Cox markets (e.g. North Virginia) and made new tables, charts, graphs, etc. from that data to view trends and try to see if there was anything noticeable that we could look into to improve the performance in one of our markets.I also worked on making powerpoint slides for a competitive analysis deck that was going to the senior team (c-suite people). That was a lot of fun. A few of my slides I did essentially by myself, and they ended up in front of the CSO and President.I also worked on making a reporting template in Word for market leaders to report on the state of their market annually. That was for the COO

Less finance-focused. Didn't do any financial modelling, but this was also because I didn't necessarily have that skillset yet, so my manager probably didn't assign me that type of work.
